Building local community; Transition Streets and beyond
At a human level the most powerful location to make change is the one that you spend the most time in. For most of us that is a street, community or appartment complex, but people often feel nervous starting the conversation about how these neighbourhoods could be become virant, connecteed and sustainable communities. In this sessione we are going to explore how we can share approaches for how to take this, sometimes nerve-wracking first step. We'll introduce the Transition Streets program, a super easy to use first step resource but really want to hear about how you are making your neighbourhood into a connected, vibrant and sustainable community.
What is a Localisation Sharing Circle?
This is a series of monthly online forums. Part sharing, part learning but all about connecting with others to help think of things in new ways and build ideas to actions.
