What does AI mean for Localisation

AI is rapidly changing work places and communities, with many proposed data centres and big effects on how we use online technology. Some people see great promise, and others see more destruction, even human extinction. We will briefly unpack what AI is and its effects; hear from local community groups fighting data centres, and explore different experiences of AI and localisation projects.

What is a Localisation Sharing Circle?
This is a series of monthly online forums. Part sharing, part learning but all about connecting with others to help think of things in new ways and build ideas to actions. These sessions, cofacilitated by Transition Australia, The NENA Localisation Hub and Local Futures offers a timely check in, refresh and opportunity to explore what others are doing and how we can do it better together.
